Riga
Old Riga-its Boulevard Circle were recognized as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The most famous places of attraction in Riga are the Dome Cathedral, Riga Castle, House of the Blackheads, the Three Brothers house complex, Swedish Gate, Freedom Monument, Powder Tower, and St. Peter's Church.
Rundāle
The southern part of Latvia, in particular Semigallia, hosts the Rundāle Palace. It was designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli for the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann von Biron.
Sigulda
One of the Latvia's most picturesque places – the town of Sigulda is situated 52 kilometres away from Riga. It is set on the edge of the Gauja National Park with its river, sandstone caves, and forest.
Jurmala
Jurmala is listuated 10 kilometeres away from the capital, near the Bay of Riga. Jurmala has become a popular resort as early as in the 19th century. Many Russian officers visited it for treatment. The tourists are attracted by Jurmala by its temperate climate, air filled with the pine tree smell, healing muds, and mineral springs.
Cēsis
Cēsis is a small town in northern Latvia, in the Gauja National Park. Today it is a unique well-preserved medieval town with a medieval Livonian castle of 13th century.
