From Baltic to North Sea (7 days/6 nights)

Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany. Half of it is covered with parks, boulevards, recreational areas, rivers, canals and lakes. The city features over 2,400 bridges, which is more than in Venice, Amsterdam and London taken together. The magnificent neo-renaissancestyled Rathaus, or city hall, set in the very heart of Hamburg, is the city’s major landmark. Hamburg is a home to various museums, famous fish market Fischmarkt, Reeperbahn – Hamburg’s red light district where the art of selling love was turned into a major place of tourist attraction.

Located on the bank of the bay with the same name, the city of Kiel is the capital of the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. This is the place where one of the world’s major sailing events, the Kiel Week, originated. Nikolaikirche, or St. Nicholas Church, built in 13th century is the oldest building in the city. Kiel is also considered to be the place of origin of the German Baltic fleet. This why German naval ships and submarines are often seen here.

Flensburg is a small lovely town in northern Germany. It is located on the Baltic coast. The borderline with Denmark is just 500¬meters away from Flensburg. The town offers everything you might need to have good time. You can take a walk around the town, visit fantastic museums, taste local rum.

Glücksburg, a small town with slightly over 5,000 people living it, is conveniently located on the Baltic coast. Glücksburg boasts rather large and picturesque lake Schlossteich where Gluecksburg Castle is located. The Castle was built on 2.5-meter high granite foundation that emerges from the water. It can be reached through a small bridge only. The place also features a garden where you can enjoy fresh forest air.

Sylt is a miniature anchor of Germany that the whole country lies on. The proof can be easily found – just look at the island map where a small piece of land is attached to the continent on the very north of the country, next to Denmark. It is worth noting that this place becomes more and more popular with the tourists, and many of them visit it for the second or third time. Sylt is first of all known for its quite cold water, huge oysters, and great number of celebrities.
