Weekend in Moscow (4 days/3 nights)

Day 1

After arriving in Moscow and a comfortable transfer to the chosen hotel, you will have several hours to relax before the evening program. You can dine at one of the fine Moscow’s restaurants. After dinner you are invited to take a panoramic tour of the night-illuminated capital. When the day’s hustle and bustle is done, and the twilight descends on Moscow, the city becomes especially beautiful. The unusual and colorful lighting puts a new face on the architectural ensemble of the capital.

Day 2

You have already got your first glimpse of Moscow. It is time to get to know the city better.First of all, you will visit the Red square and the Kremlin of Moscow – the spiritual and political center of Russia, a living embodiment of the centuries-old history of the state.

During the tour you will see the Kremlin Palace, the Tsar cannon and the Tsar bell, the Cathedral of the Archangel and the Assumption Cathedral, which is the mother church of Russia. After lunch on the terrace of the SAVVA restaurant in the legendary Hotel Metropol Moscow, we invite you to walk around Zamoskvorechye. It is a quiet part of old Moscow with narrow pedestrian streets, low houses and magnificent churches. In the evening we invite you aboard the ship of the Flotilla Radisson Royal to admire Moscow from the water, enjoying the comfort of the first-class saloon. The chef of the Flotilla Radisson will cook the dinner especially for you.

Day 3

On this day you will enjoy the beauty of the capital in all its diversity and have a chance to fall in love with this city forever. You will drive along the embankments and streets of Moscow: the Boulevard and Garden rings, Kutuzovsky prospect. You will see the Bolshoi theater and the Moscow Manege, famous Stalin’s skyscrapers, the Triumphal Arch, Golden domes of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Swan pond near the walls of the Novodevichy Convent, Vorobyovy Gory, Moscow State University building, modern skyscrapers of Moscow city and much more. We offer lunch in one of the trendy restaurants near the atriarch’s ponds, which are a bright spot on the gastronomical map of the capital. After lunch, you will visit the world-famous Tretyakov gallery to get acquainted with wonderful works of Russian painting. During the tour you will learn about the Tretyakov brothers, merchants-patrons of art, and the history of their founding of the gallery. You will see the most famous masterpieces of Russian painting. At the end of the day we offer you to go to the Bolshoi Theater and enjoy the famous Russian ballet.

Day 4

Before leaving the capital, we invite you to an underground tour to explore the incredible Moscow metro. The Moscow metro has been operating daily since 1935. It is long enough to encourage Metro buffs to make up legends, which might be based on some historical facts. What was the underground city built for? Where the elements for decoration were brought from? And why did the architects not choose readymade projects, but developed their own, unique masterpieces, which later turned the Moscow Metro into cultural heritage? You will be able to learn all this during the impressive tour of the capital’s metro. Transfer to the airport. Flight back.
