Relaxing Lithuania (5 days/ 4 nights)

The second day will be spent in Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It here that Trakai Castle, the Eastern Europe’s only water castle dating from the 14th and 15th centuries is located. The Castle was once the main residence of the Grand Duke Vytautas. Envoys were received and feasts were held here once. Since 1962 it houses the Trakai History Museum. The next day will be spend in Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania. You will see the city’s main places of attraction, walk around the streets in the Old Town.

The second half of the program will be focused on the resort vacation. You will head to Druskininkai, the largest resort in the south of the country. In 1837 the Russian Tsar Nicholas I approved the project of Druskininkai resort, and since then it has become the summer residence of aristocratic visitors. Today it is a modern Europen resort surrounded by pine tree forests on three sides. Rivers, springs and lakes convey fresh air containing phytoncides and pine tree smell, and thus create a unique micro climate here.

Day 1

Arrival to Vilnius. Tour in Lithuanian capital. Sightseeing.

Day 2

Transfer to Trakai. Tour in the Trakai Castle. Retrun to Vilnius.

Day 3

Transfer to Kaunas. Tour in Kaunas.

Day 4

Transfer to Druskininkai. Free time is spa resort. Visit to aquapark.

Day 5

Free time in resort. Return to Vilniue. Departure.
